The name 4B's stands for Bent & Buckled Bikies Bureau, with the idea being to offer injured riders support during their stays in hospital. This is a side of motorcycling often ignored, but the 4B's, with regular visits, distribution of magazines and friendly support, try to make it as easy as possible.

The Motorcycle Riders Association of Australia was founded in Melbourne in May, 1978 as a non-profit, volunteer organisation working in the interests of it's Victorian members. From 2004 to 2009 there were motions to consolidate and rename as the Victorian Branch so at the 2010 AGM the name changed to MRA(Vic).The MRA(Vic) offers support to all Australian motorcyclists from social, sporting and interested clubs to any motorcycle related organsations. The MRA(Vic) is also a member of the Australian Motorcycle Council. More ..

Police demonstrated Thursday how they will test noisy motorcycles once a new bylaw amendment comes into effect. (CBC)

Edmonton police will use a sound meter and a measuring tape to enforce a new bylaw amendment recently passed by city council to crack down on excessively noisy motorcycles.

Canada : City moves to muffle motorcycles

Edmonton is one step closer to turning in motorcycle riders whose bikes are too loud.

A city committee voted Thursday to make it illegal for a motorcycle to be louder than 92 decibels while idling and 96 decibels while in motion.

Riders with louder bikes face a fine of $250, once city council approves the change later this month.

Deaths and injuries prompt Solicitor-General to call for mandatory education and other measures.

A rash of recent motorcycling fatalities has Solicitor-General Kash Heed calling for regulations that would make education mandatory for motorcycle riders and those with whom they share the road.

There should be harsher penalties against automobile drivers who kill motorcyclists due to carelessness, says a group of Ontario bikers.

In yet another example of a tiny bit of information being a dangerous thing, an English policeman has denounced motorcycles for killing the Baby Boom generation!
